Hi, my name is Dana and I am currently a Home Health Occupational Therapy Assistant. (Seeking my Masters of Occupational Therapy with a graduation date of 2021) I am passionate about home health care and aging at home.
What is Occupational Therapy you ask? Well to sum myself up in my own words, Occupational Therapy helps regain or develop skills needed to complete day to day activities. Activities are defined as work, school, home and most importantly self care skills that may have declined due to injury, illness, cognitive decline, disease, developmental delays, learning problems and aging.
As a home health therapist I provide rehab in the home setting. Everyday I provide education to either my patient or their family members/caregivers, and I wanted to provide a place accessible for anyone to access the important education I provide to my patients in their homes everyday.
